Peter Mook was born in England in the seaside town of Southport where he still lives and works, below is a brief summary of his career so far.
Peter left University in 1993 where he gained a 1st class honors degree in 3-Dimensional Design, the following year he started to work as a freelance sculptor and designer and whilst working with Minster Giftware he lived in China for several years at ceramic, resin and cast-iron factories designing and sculpting giftware including many hundreds of items from 4" upwards, from Teapots and doorstops to mirrors and lamps and has a small selection to view in his portfolio.
It was in the year 2000 when he started to work with the Dutch manufacturer Deco Design based in the Philippines where he lived and worked for almost 10 years. It was during this time in the PI that Peter was approached by Warner Bros to become an approved artist after which Disney, Kingfeatures, Marvel and Microsoft soon followed making Peter one of very few artists worldwide to be approved as an artist by every major Licensing group and giving him the opportunity to work with many licenses such as Looney Tunes, Mickey and friends, Betty Boop, Garfield, Mr Bean, Winnie the Pooh, Popeye, Dennis the Mennis, The Muppet Show, Sonic, Halo, classic Marvel and Wolverine and the X-Men.
